I did go back and put longer axles on the back of calves to keep the technic panels on the inner legs from falling off so easily, but otherwise everything is as per the instructions. There are a few wobbly bits, but nothing structural.
The biggest issue I see is the lack of friction in the legs - there's enough for him to be upright and poseable, but only just. Not sure how you'd fix that though.
