The difference here is that GWS seems to have full control over what Mcfarlane is producing, considering the fact that they're doing Primaris marines first instead of the classic Space Marine.

With WH40k, they seem to be doing the newest releases right now. Sisters of Battle got shit released in 2020. Same with Necrons and Pramaris Marines. Only thing that's missing now are the Tau and Holy Mechanics from current shit.

Eldar, Orks, and others haven't had new shit in a while.
