>>7797753>>7797815Thanks for your kind words! It´s my first bit of modelling after many years. I used to play tabletop wargames and landscape building was always lots of fun.
I´m still in the process of making the scene "come alive". I want to buy some cars, figurines and other stuff that´s lying around a railroad yard. I´ve just been away from home the last two months so I didn´t get to work on the scenery. I added some tools next to the shed and the hall, which might be a start.
I couple the cars and loco by hand with a small tool I built from spare plastic sprues. It´s a bit fiddly but since the layout is rather small it´s not too difficult. I also bought a couple of table legs so I can mount the whole thing. Hopefully lighting will be better this way.
The whole layout is also based on the Timesaver layout. I´m currently working on a car card system so the shunting action will be more organized. So far it´s a lot of fun and definately more up my alley than watching trains go around.
