I think that's why their Fred Wolf line has been able to survive so long and make so many incredibly obscure characters. My eyes bugged out when I saw they were making the Crooked Ninja Turtle gang, that's such a deep cut.
I am sad, mind you. I really like Ultimates despite their issues. But it feels like their time is almost up. Transformers Ultimates wave 1 also got put on HEAVY clearance everywhere. I think Thundercats is doing ok. We'll have to wait and see how this affects their as-yet-unreleased stuff I guess.
