Molding is the trickiest thing. But when you do a low number the production, than casting costs are cheap, only the build up of the molding process is expensive.
I dont understand the handpainting stuff. If you paint everything, it is more costly but kinda dumb doing it that way. Expensive and prone to paint chips. Instead of handpainting everyone should aim for colored plastic material with painting apps just for the important parts.
The asssembly and packaging might be the most expensive or time consuming thing.
But the price sounds much more like working a week than make profit for one year.
