>>7336002>>7336030It really depends on the animation to me. Like, Macross Plus looks amazing, and the YF-19 has a lot of iconic shots so having an animation accurate toy compliments it well. The G1 cartoon was mostly poorly animated, with some great shots and an overall well done animated movie, so trying to be slavish to the animation seems silly. With Macross, so much of the animation rings through to what the original intention for the design was, especially in the newer CGI shows.
