Hasegawa is like Tamiya but often with a few more fiddly parts in the build sequence. Boomers say 'Tamiyagawa' to refer to both Jap kit makers. Hasegawa also takes more risks with their subjects, they actually put out a 'Myrt' and a 'Grace" in 1/48 despite neither of those planes being known to most modelers.
