The proportions of the G1 toys aren't even all that different from the toon so the usual thing of toy detailing being better doesn't work.
I don't get why people defend Toyworld so much; they were never particularly nice sculpts, and its not a matter of being a "tooner" ; they were just bland and clunky. Despite being "Ox" inspired they have none of the charm or style. Just slabs with greeble. Is there really that much salt over MPs and Devastator that people get upset that a company might make another one after 7 years? Meanwhile I see Legends scale figures getting 2.0s after less than 3 years.
