Was researching safest brands / most preferred brands of water-color pencils earlier today then fucking realized I already had one of them (Derwent brand) stored away serving me no purpose for years. The typical goal of using those is to outline a draft for shapes or just straight-up draw on sharper details, like Miku’s eyebrows. And you wanna make sure the brand of pencil is softer for use on the doll.
So now that I know I have that available, im going to try to start on the face later tomorrow. Tested out tonight utilizing the edges and corners of the pastels for outlining but just didn’t compare to the needed saturation I’ll get from the water-color.
Here’s a pic I got right after putting her together. I have all the DDdY chests but thought this one looked “”””””cool”””””” with the marching band outfit.
These were the previous eyes I made that were too large to sit forward enough.
