I already tried painting a thin layer of white acrylic as a base, but ehh it didn't really work. Anyone has any advice? Should I just keep building it up with pastels and varnish? Should I just straight up paint it with acrylics? I fear that doing it with acrylics won't look as delicate as if done with pastels (I don't own an airbrush)
