Hoax or not, Adamski's UFO is in the public's consciousness as the definitive UFO. There's been several models made of it over the years from different model companies.
It seems strange that Revell thought it would be a good idea to add guns to the Adamski UFO, call it a "Nazi Flying Saucer," and then sell it in Germany, who's notoriously squeamish about such things. It's almost like Revell was trolling the country on purpose.
