>>6754836theres really no skill to hand painting or airbrushing its all just experience over time. look at painting gundam videos for some basic info and start. id recommend buying a bottle of black paint, even the cheap apple barrel shit works, a pallet to hold paint and a brush set that has tiny brushes. then thinning it out with water and practice simple wash panel lining with that. using a cotton swap or hand towel to clean off the excess, gray lining works better on white so that would be better for rx 78.
will be cheaper and more practical than the markers. i started with the markers and they didnt really help me with much other than better hand eye coordination and I actually got better when using brushes
