for me, its the toy as a historical product: the tiny rubber eraser you'd carry around in your pocket, the detailed sculpts packed into a form so small you're forced to pick them up and study them to see the nuances, the amazing variety of wrestlers and monsters, the aesthetic when figures of the same color are all packed into a gumball machine or a glass jar. it's a very specific joy for me
i also collect 1/12 figuarts and other stuff you more commonly see on the board. the common figures in these lines can be as cheap as a dollar to acquire, so it's easy to start a collection.
