It all started going downhill with the introduction of FigFix, a typical statue line but it was covering characters who already had figmas and their faces were swappable with them, so if you wanted the FigFix exclusive face for your figma you had to buy the statue. Haven't heard of that line for a while and don't know how long it survived but it was the point of major changes starting within Max Factory.
