Most colors when you paint using the same color as the plastic underneath look fine.Tamiya Color's spray in white is what I used to paint the white parts of my Lio Convoy kit and it looks great, and since you don't have to work to hide a different color under the paint a single coat does the job unless you're doing metallic color. Then you may want a second coat depending on how many flakes you get showing on the first coat.
But white on white, or yellow on yellow, the two worst colors in paint to work with - not a problem.
