Really, I just want the whole Bayverse scrapped and a hard, unambiguous, tonally and aesthetically different reboot. The old designs were too far removed but these feel like they're going G1 enough to keep the same visuals in later movies because it worked before and they are totally terrified of starting over. I feel like regardless of whether this movie does well or not, the producers will use it as an excuse to go back to bombastic explosionfests featuring walking trash heaps in a story written by a schizophrenic with ADHD.
