Many fond memories of this era. Kenner's sculptwork was very ahead of the curve and they don't get enough credit for pioneering the animated and comic sculpts in an era when prior attempts were generally mushy and soft.
One of my favorite lines was the successor to Legends of Batman; Legends of the Dark Knight. While the line was marred by a lot of Batman variants that were just usual underwater/ ice/ stealth/ etc. gimmicks instead of the creative alternate era Batman of LoB, there's still a lot of gems in the line.They definately aimed for the 90's McFarlane toys look, and I remember reading they were inspired by Kelley Jones artwork. This Dark Knight Detective batman is a bit ridiculous but it makes a really cool display piece. I believe KB toys even gave out a blue redeco
