>>8811590That's the issue with a lot of Macross toys, they stick with set model kit scales (often 1/100 or 1/60). Any in-between scales are usually fighter mode-only or a one-off experiment that goes nowhere.
Now that I had some time to look into it, though, there is the Kitzconcept 1/72 Robotech Valkyrie. It stands ~7 inches—it didn't cross my mind earlier because I was looking at Japanese examples.
