Whereas that JoyToy mech is made of flimsy plastic that even adults break when fiddling around with despite being well known for being fragile.
As for other mecha, check out McFarlane's Avatar stuff. You can get him a few mechs at mini scales for the price of larger ones like this.

Anything under $20 is usually a model though, so it's something to know beforehand. They're poseable and relatively durable, but can get loose pretty quickly.
