It's not trying to look like a shrunken down version of an actual car; it knows its a toy and it embraces that, and cranks that aesthetic up to 11. It has the immediate flashiness of vac metal, but its reflectiveness and luster is off the charts because of how highly-polished it is. I think the look works better for fantasy cars, moreso than the licensed castings that RLC has been heavy on lately, but I'll take 'em both.
