They may not have to pay for licenses but they sponsor the shows. I wonder which is more costly? And does that cause the difference from someone like SE and their PAK and BA, which takes full advantage of owning the IP's with minimal effort toys.
Thinking again, I said there's less inter-departmental competition now but with Riders alone the Figure-rise Standard with rivaling quality for cheap, and RKF series for wider selection are definitely competing with SHF. So nothing really changed, or in a way got worse (or better).
Going back to Revo talk, I do wish AY would do some Tokusatsu heroes Bandai care very little of. Ishinomori or Tsuburaya. Not even live-action but anime like Cyborg 009.
