Finally selling my entire remaining collection.
I stopped collecting almost a decade ago, and I'm just tired of hauling around hundreds of lbs of Lego instructions and parts everywhere I go... it's just time.
Anyways I'm looking for some advice. It's going to take me a long as fuck time to sell all of these sets, and I'm making a table of set values based off recently sold on ebay.
But is there a better way to know the pre-owned value of each set? Almost all my parts are in great condition, but I have no boxes, as I threw out all the boxes years ago because... well I was tired of hauling them around everywhere I went and they took up so much space so I tossed them all.
I'm actually glad I did though, because having the boxes makes shipping that much more complicated because you need very large boxes for the very large sets, and having it all be just parts and instructions will make shipping everything very easy.
Anyways, is there a site that tracks value of pre-owned lego sets so I can get a better idea of their value, or should I not even use ebay to sell and just start a Bricklink shop or something? I used to buy parts from Bricklink ages ago.
Also, I'm SHOCKED at how much some of these sets are worth MISB right now. Ashoka's Fighter, a set from the early 2010s is worth fucking $400 sealed on ebay, and that's just from recently sold items not items for sale.
Other sets I've seen sell for $400 MISB, such as the Indiana Jones boulder run set, and even some of the bigger Mars Mission sets are selling for insane prices MISB.
