FUCK, was I ever wrong. This might be in the running for favorite BB ever. Transformation has some pleasant surprises, but it's still simple enough to remember without a manual (unlike my other pickup, Bloodstone, who has a nightmarishly long and complicated transformation). The aesthetics--10/10 sculpt, 10/10 colors. The chunkiness and shape language of the body are so reminiscent of the best toylines of the 90s. The gold and clear orange accents really bring the whole package together, and the flip-up "helmet" and fold-out jet wings practically brought tears of joy to my eyes. This toy is so fucking good I almost can't bear it. Thank you, Stryker, for bringing us this bounty.
