>>6827508I think that Kotobukiya made cu-poches this way, so the fanbase who like chibi figures like nendos would feel attracted to them easily too as they can complement their already existing nendo collection, and not trying to compete directly (sort of speak or like a nendo-killer option), I see poches like the big sisters of nendos and people accept them easily
other companies have tried to make chibi figures that can steal nendos' fanbase but failed miserably, like for example Griffon's Nanorich VC line (Yeah, never heard of them? that's why) or Bandai's Chibi-Arts line, none of those got to stand against nendos in the long run, poches have achieved this, but the line is still young
