Saw people swap arms with new Luffy. I've come up with very retarded idea how to make better G5 Luffy with fully plastic joints and better articulation.
So we need:
1. Onigashima Luffy for crotch piece with belt peg to swap with G5 belt if you want
2. Egghead red suit Luffy for orange hips with working knee cut. Or you can use blue hips from RD Luffy as well.
3. Romance dawn Luffy for arms and better sculpted legs
3.5. You can wait for Marineford Luffy instead to get hips with swivel. Also you can use the same legs and arms instead of Romance dawn but erase damage marks. But I'm not sure if his hips can be attached to previous Luffys.
4. Egghead G5 Luffy for torso, head and belt
Just paint hips and crotch white, swap parts and here you are.
You can do the similar custom with first G5 by painting Onigashima red shirt into white but it's harder.
