>>5365136If you like the look of the Figuarts, I think it's something you can overlook pretty easily. Should it be a taller, more imposing figure? Yes, definitely. Does it make Vader look completely off in relation to other Figuarts? Eh, not really.
I realize my comparison photo here ain't the best, with everyone facing a different angle, but it does accurately reflect each figure's relative height. Vader is noticeably taller than the Clone, while being just a smidgen taller than the Roger Roger (note that the droid has his legs the least spread apart out of all three figures due to its design, which does grant him a little bit of additional height). Again, Vader should be taller and larger, but I think he still looks good relative to other Figuarts.
My main issue with Vader is his cape. It looks cool (though it doesn't sit as nicely as I'd like around his neck), but to have absolutely no articulation whatsoever kinda stinks, especially with the cape molded in such a dynamic way. Bandai has done pose-able plastic capes before and since, so it's not like they don't know how to do it.
Ah well, I still like it and can recommend it to people who like the look. Doubly worth it if you can get the 1st release display stand!
