Went around 2pm so it wasn't as busy and asked the cashier that I wanted the "toy 1" bag. When I got my happy meal, (The first one in years.) I checked to see that it was the Tamagotchi, toy 16. So I asked the lady handing out food if I could trade and she said "no" because she has to inventory ALL those toys every night and she's just handing them out randomly and doesn't have time to look for the one I wanted. I reply that I know the number and can search the box if she's that busy. She says no again and starts to get uppity. That's when the manager steps in and asks the number that I'm looking for. I tell him "one" and he goes over, picks it up from the top of the box pile and gives it to me. I say "thank you" and hurry out because at that point I felt like a total manchild.
But I got my nostalgia goggles toy. I loved the Changeables toys when I was a kid. Had the complete set, but lost them during several moves back. I'm now picking them up whenever I can find them at thirft shops and flea markets. Burgerbot feels a bit cheaper than his old compatriots. The plastic is a bit thinner, joints don't move as smoothly. Strange scratch mark on the bottom. But that's today's QUALITY for you.
