Because anyone can make a $200+ high-end niche robo toy only a few would want and make profit, but Revoltechs are not like that. Kaiyodo does that with tokusatsu statues. And they don't do model kits like GSC or Sentinel started doing. Ironic since Kaiyodo started as a model shop.
So must be mecha with wide appeal, something like Escaflowne that only some Americans care about because it was the few anime on TV, no way in hell. Pretty much anything that existed back during Revoltech did anything but was still too niche, damn it I can't see it happening.
I'm surprised Canti never happened, but I guess among the other Gainax titles it was small and had a stronger international presence than inland. Sentinel has him and Rayearth covered, probably see more niche robots from Moderoid.
Bubblegum Crisis though, not what we're thinking but the main suits are perfect for AY. But if figma are not willing to go through with them? with their robbing fans blind pricing Kaiyodo will never go for them. I think the IP is beloved enough.
Nagai Go robots are the best ones but apparently they can't even make Getter 1 happen anymore. Which is a bad sign.
