Any boatfags here? I wanna build Russian ships but I've never built a ship before. Not worried about PE autism but I'm trying to wrap my head around how the fuck do you paint the deck and not have it look like shit? The deck is red but the the "walls" and protruding bits are still grey, there's way too many small oddly shaped detailed protrusions to just mask so how the fuck do you guys paint this? I saw someone on youtube just do it by hand but it seems like it would be really difficult to get red down without brush strokes or inconsistent coats since its such a strong color.
