why aren't marvel legends flying off the shelves anymore? I remember back in 2016-2017 they were extremely hard to find at my local walmart, now they're just rotting on the shelves. Literally the only figure that sells is Spider-Man, everything else stays, even "renowned" figures like black widow at target or the new animated wolverine.
My guess is collectors are finally understanding how low quality legends truly are. same shitty limited bucks with minimal tooling that we've seen thousands of times isn't working anymore and that's why more expensive import figures (like mafex wolverine) are selling out.
Ironically Hasbro other figure line, GI Joe, is doing far better because of the amount of accessories and articulation points you get with each figure.
Collectors prefer quantity or quality and it's starting to show.
