>>10428437Last but certainly not least, the Mil-24 was an automatic buy for me when I first saw it on Ali. There's been a few Hinds floating around (finally decided to pull the trigger on one of those after getting this one) but when I saw Sluban was behind it I couldn't resist.
This thing is a beast, big and heavy and ungainly like its real-world counterpart, and I love it. Plenty of cabin space for a squad of special forces; only comes with a quartet of rocket pods but adding some anti-tank or anti-air ordnance would be easy enough. There are instructions and parts for three variants, though the variation is entirely on the placement and type of gun armament - the base version has the two-barrelled side-mounted system on the left (crew's right) side of the fuselage; the two variants move these to the right (crew's left) side and add either a single or dual-barrel chin gun (I opted for the former).
When I get the other Hind I'll be sure to take a side-by-side with this one.
