It's a fantastic toy, but I just don't think you'd be entirely satisfied with it at that price, particularly if it's your first experience with the HMR line.
I'd suggest giving the line a shot by picking up one of the cheaper, more readily available releases (like Hikaru's VF-1J), wait for a VF-1S reissue (I bet a Max VF-1S has a good chance of being released sometime), or splash out a little bit more and pick up one of Arcadia's VF-1 reissues. Definitely gotta get yourself some DYRL merch, though!
