>upload failed :^)>x10I couldn't post the last few days on this board for some fucking reason but I finished the rpk in a record time of two whole hours. This pic is just after the final varnish coat so I'll take some pics of it together some day but to the anon that wanted to make the akm just ask the stuff you need if you like how this looks.
These little armory guns are just a blast to build and paint, fun and quick to do so I recommend them. Non wood furnished ones must be even faster if you have the colors ready.
>>6923026Google (as you already know), youtube if they don't take the vid down and twitter are easy and good sources but the problem is seeing a "360" view of the vehicle as most of the time you can only see a bit of it so much of it is left up to imagination, sure there are "fully studied specimens" that are in the color profiles of the kits or aftermarket decals. /k/ has or used to have a syrian war general with a ton of pics so you might ask there too.
>>6924271A bit early to judge the color but if you wanted nice variations I would go oils for post shading and then some oil dots. These never fail to make stuff look good and you can always wipe them off or work them for two days or so.
I think marbling or whatever is called what you did earlier (stuff that people do a lot on planes) would look off on armor due the size of the panels and thickness of both paint and metal. Planes have a lot of smaller panels and are thinner and the same goes for the paint coat so the marbling tries to simulate the subtle variations and fading of these fine surfaces, whereas afvs have thicker plates and rougher finish so the fading and variations present themselves in a different way. At least this is the logic I would put to it but there's always the "I like it how it looks this way" so up to the modeler I guess
