Almost there, waited for mud to dry so I could work it better in the roof and some touches on the sides softening edges. Gonna add a bit of snow and the pines branches, still need to make them but I'll add them eventually. Only some camo cables are left and the spare tracks from the back left to paint, the crew it's a separate build.
>>8831018>water based primers usually can't be sanded and it's just a layer that helps to paint later>solvent based primers can be sanded and basically it's thinned down putty and behaves more like that Primers mostly work as microfillers, like soft scratches and small blemishes unless you flood the surface of course, but don't expect to magically fill holes and gaps to perfection and leave details thin and defined in the process. What you need its putty, if you don't wanna use it in a paste you can thin it with lacquer thinner and use it as liquid putty to cover lager gaps and sand them. Sculpting materials could also be used to fill gaps without need to sand if you work them with some tools. There's a lot of ways you could go at this desu
>>8831303thin type glues are only solvent, so the union is rather weak, only the area where the solvent reaches and has time to bond is welded together and uses only the present materials. If you want slightly stronger bonds use regular cement as it contains filler (that's why it’s more dense than thin and flows worse) and make sure it's applied touching as much surface as possible. Sadly, it's more messy than thin types and not as pleasant to apply so meh. Nevertheless, primer and paint should stop any thinner from touching the plastic if properly applied tho
