Speaking of low availability, my local Target has pretty much sold out of all of their Halloween stuff including these seasonal plush birds that they have for every season. And since I actually work there, I tried auditing everything I noticed that was out of stock, and we still weren't getting anymore sent to us, despite doing this in early October. I think retailers just want to push Halloween out as fast as they can so they can make room for Christmas, but it's creating a lot of demand for these halloween items, I had a customer tell me that all the sold out halloween stuff was going for crazy prices on ebay. Kind of infuriating as a fan of spooky stuff, I noticed this going into a lot of major stores too, halfway through October some of the halloween stuff was being taken down at a Michaels to put in Christmas shit. Now, I love christmas, but dammit, I love halloween too.
