>>6240794I understand you OP. I have an obscene amount of toys filling my house right now. Getting a new figure is exciting for about a day and then I plunk it on a shelf and generally don't look at it ever again.
I...might have found an escape lately though. I forced myself to buy a PS4 instead of pouring that money into two cases of Marvel Legends. And it's been good for me I think. My game purchases are actually keeping me engaged and since I use them regularly, I feel like my money was well-spent and worthwhile. Not to mention it's way easier to talk to people about the games I'm playing than the latest toy I've obtained. Gaming has become rather acceptable and lots of my peers and coworkers do it, but collecting figures is still too niche for them.
