But yes, people still play the game, primarily through the WBO:
http://worldbeyblade.org/index.phpIt's a physics game, so besides the standard rules (you win by getting a knockout, or outspinning them), there's a deep level of complexity in how you assemble the parts you use, the way you launch, your timing, ect. The WBO provides a lot of insight into the metagame that is basically invisible to people who don't play, but basically you have to learn how to use the assets of your combination to your advantage, if you have an aggressive blade you should angle your shots so that you don't needlessly waste stamina circling the tornado ridge, if you have a defensive blade you should launch in such a way that keeps you balanced and centered, or as evasive as possible.
