So the first MEKA is pretty nice. It definitely feels bootleg-tier, but the paint is pretty nice considering, and it's got some real heft to it. It can't do much aside from essentially being a 1/12 prop, but it's pretty great at that. One thing to note is that the stuff-a-figma-in-there gimmick doesn't really work, but mostly because:
1: the model straight up cheats and doesn't have room for someone's legs, or even lower torso in some cases
2: the joysticks are too far out to grab most of the time
3: I'm just now realizing how few figmas can actually look up 90 degrees
>>6182574>I'm thinking I will still look at getting that DX-9 Bastion I'll be honest, that's one design that's literally perfect for a company like DX9. Whenever regular toy companies try to do transforming stuff it usually ends up being a mess. Can you imagine max factory trying something like that? Maaaaybe if bandai put their macross A team on it.
