They often come with more accessories than other iterations of the character, are cute and in some cases the only toy representation of someone's favorite character. The pokemon trainers and sonic nendoroids are really great because their in game design translate pretty well to nendoroids design. They're a lot cheaper compared to hot toys and that makes them easier to collect. I've never bought one but I'm tempted to buy majora's mask link for the mask he comes with.
