Seeing the reference pic, if the pinkish parts are supposed to be grey-grey, that would mean the rest would have a greener tinge, which would indeed make the outer panels and the center part greenish gray. Now for the image. The top image is your picture. The next image is the original picture with increased saturation. you can clearly notice the white balance is skewed towards blue and magenta, giving an overall pinkish color. I then ran a curves adjustment on your picture, taking the gray point reference on an engine cowling (third picture). Increasing the saturation similarly on that, the central gray turns out to be more neutral. and the wingtips are greenish as originally desired.
