Your mileage may vary but if you want fun 3rd party figures, I would recommand some of MMC reformated (Love their Turben/Whirl and the Eribus/Brawn & Gravus/Guzzle are fun) or Maketoys before TFSource fucked their name to the ground (Thunder Erebus is still, to this day, my favorite 3rd party toy). If you're okay with Legends figures and slavish representation of Sunbow G1, most of Newage figures are fun to handle and have clever transformations, also.
