The old city with a dense and diverse selection of modern things to experience. Classic city colliding with all the futuristic space stuff.
I want my lego world to be 'The future' 'twenty to thirty years ago'.
A space/sci-fi setting with light dystopian cyberpunk inspiration, but undoubtedly Sesame Street at the core. A small slice of inner city life with ayy lmaos, humans, robos and car culture. A hodgepodge of cool, hip and naïve youth subculture cliches. A mix of (I miss seeing groups of goth/punk/rapper/techno/gabber/grunge/aerobics archtypes).
I want to build a world with dreary dystopian decay. But I want the retro-futuristic vibes not to feel all that far off. The world still feels mostly familiar. Space travel is already happenening but people still drive cars for the most part. Houses are mostly remnants of western european 19th/20th century. Dracula still lives in his mansion in the inner city.
There are all these exciting developments and scary and dangerous things happening. Even though the industrialized urban sprawl seems to be ever expanding, the people of space street form a small, close community. Nobody here seems to really bat an eye at things anymore as they've either seen it all or they're too busy with their personal shenanigans. In the end, all seems to accidentally turn out ok in space street.
