>>8020431>Walmarts have a whole section for collectors toys including NECA. HAven't seen NECA shit in any of the 6 Walmarts in my aera since Pacific Rim and Planet of the Apes.
Target has a collectors section, but they're literally bare wires for most of the year. Besides, they don't carry as much merch in these areas than they do in the kids section. Kids toys get like 10 cases+, whereas the collector stuff gets maybe 5 at most.
>Move to a better town?I live in a city, which is part of one of the largest metro areas in the world. Theres like 20 walmarts that are within 30 minutes of me and i only go to the ones along the freeway nearest me.
>>8020687That's Marvel Legends, another kids toyline. Walmart only likes to carry the top selling shit and that's it (sorta how they'er nearly the largest book vendor in the world despite only carrying the top ten books).
McFarlane wants to stand out from them and probably thinks that his larger scale will be a boon, if not the next revolution in toys. Sorta like how he was hugely influencial in toys worldwide being better paint, better detailed, and more articulated back in the 90s and early 00s.
