Goddamnit guys, just think about the fact that there was a toyline combining two of the most lucrative mass media franchises on earth running for an entire half decade and yet, the average casual Transformers or Star Wars fan has probably never heard of it. This could have truly been one of the greatest examples of a crossover series but somehow the designers managed to completely fuck up something as simple as transformable spaceships mostly shaped around rectangles and triangles, as if it was some form of Herculean task after having done numerous airplanes and beasts and combiners and all other sorts of complex shit. The concept for this line was excellent, some of the alt modes even looked like proper Revell-sized Star Wars vehicles, but my god, other than a few rare exceptions (like Cody and the Jedi Starfighters, for instance) the actual engineering and robot aesthetics were a fucking disaster.
How could they fuck up so bad, /tfg/? Will Hasbro ever attempt something like this again? Because if something, now is the best time to actually resurrect SW-TF.
