Jada is pretty close. Play Arts and Storm Collectibles are almost identical at times.
The Street Fighter Alpha figures from STorm Collectibles look ace as fuck even. Shit's practically DC Direct-tier level of accuracy.

For me, having something that looks nothing like the character is like getting the knee on the left. It's so badly done, it's like looking at shit, despite the figure itself being pretty well done. No point in getting it if it's that flawed.

Some really down to earth collector toy companies that actually talk with collectors though. See Mezco and their Hellboy, MK, Thundercats, and One:12 lines. NECA does to an extent, or used to anyway. Hasbro definitely does, as they have so many oddball choices (fan favorites) that people get mad over shitty pegwarmers.

definintely some very subjective standards.
But hey, I skipped over Cammy too and dislike this new one, but i'd have chosen this super fucking ugly knee flaw over a not-Cammy.

Love the PAK Sakura though. I don't think anyone will ever do a better job.

Why not just wait and buy something that actually looks like what you like?
Why waste your money when you konw you're just going to replace the derp as soon as someone makes something that's good?

Figures like Sakura here are nearly perfect and Cammy here would be buyable if it weren't for her fucking knee. So I skipped Cammy and bought Sakura, because the Sakura actually looks like she's supposed to and has a lot of great articulation.
I don't mind the difference in scale, as the design/character wouldn't match the rest of my collection anyway.
