Animoo-ized faces aren't like comic masked heads, which Yamaguchi sculpted, so of course it won't match up.
They had to fit the head into what Yamaguchi commanded and it has to go in there no matter what.
So instead of getting an alternate head, it's just a face plate making the head look all tiny and Yamaguchi thinks its fine because that's pretty much how he does it anyway.
