There are 50 and 60 year old speakers that still sound great, despite the rubber that's holds the cone in place is bending and flexing a hundred times per second.
The problem is that the rubber is too thin. So if there's a problem with the rubber, it'll deteriorate at a much faster pace. Thicker rubber has more mass, so problems can take longer to show. Hence bendy toys still being good for decades, despite being made of the same rubber that Hot Toys or Mezco use.
Synthetic rubbers are shit though. Even on speakers, you'll see those wear out in about a decade. So if a Hot Toys or Mezco uses polyurethane, you'll see problems arise in years.
