Hasbro will just start selling licensing deals to some of the 3rd party companies like they do with most other licensed garbage like Funko, 3A, and Sentinel. they've never been shy about spreading their legs for anyone who wants to use their license.
Other people spend the money and make the toys, they just get a royalty kickback, everyone is happy.
