Well I decided to see what I could do with the jet mode, which actually came together rather well. The only thing that's flawed at the moment is the cockpit that's missing the two locking tabs on the back end. Fans Hobby via TCP should hopefully now be providing a replacement for it though. Of course it was more involved than what the tank is, but it's still rather simple, and not so frustrating.
