>>8589949Correct. Because their characters serve purposes and are actually essential to the story-- plus they have better actors. John Boyega's just not a very good actor. He was someone that Hollywood decided on a whim was an up and coming actor and shoehorned him into a bunch of projects, but he's never good. And his character's sole original point in FA was that it seemed like he was being set up to be important and probably Rey's love interest-- even reviews at the time all picked up on the love interest aspect, but with the sequels they discarded his importance(wisely in my opinion, one of the few good decisions with the ST), but ST is still pretty bad and awful in it's execution of ideas.
